Technical Service Engineer - ISP Background Preferred
Field Operations- Carry out field operations (within Gurgaon) in coordination with support team and Technical Supervisor.
Commissioning - Commission/Configure CPE devices (Modem, Routers, Switches etc.) for Internet access at client end.
Troubleshooting – visiting Clients premises as per complaint ticket and Diagnose/Troubleshoot the issue related to internet access/Connectivity and provide solution to it.
Establish Connectivity – establishing connectivity between CPE and end-user devices (CPU, Laptops, Tablets, Smart/IP TV etc.)
Reporting – to maintain reports of complaint visit, Support visit, Installation visit keeping log of it and regularly sending the reports to the management.
Monitoring/Analyzing – Monitoring network performance and analyzing complaint/Issue trends if a certain type of complaint/Issue is arising regularly and reporting it to senior Engineers.
Skills and Qualifications
Communication skills – should be strong communicators who are able to talk with customers and explain complex issues to people with no technical knowledge.
Critical thinking – must use logic to solve issues and develop more efficient systems.
Diagnostic abilities – diagnosing problems with existing equipment and finding solutions to them, so great diagnostic abilities are essential.
Analytical thinking – the ability to analyze systems and manage technical tasks is important in this job.
Problem-solving skills – good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are useful in this role
